Quite a lot of people are hesitant to try working with a psychologist online because they feel unsure whether it is as good as "the real thing". Meanwhile online therapy has been around for decades and it shows to be just as effective as the classical face-to-face arrangement.

If you would like to get a professional opinion on a pressing issue or need some help to see your situation from another angle but don't want to start therapy - this option is for you. You describe your situation in an email and after responding to some follow up questions, receive a thorough and comprehensive answer. As a former expert for the Psychologies magazine I have answered hundreds of letters from readers. The feedback suggests that this is a great source of help, support and valuable insight.

I usually dedicate 4-5 hours each month to social work: if right now you do not have the financial ability to pay for psychotherapy, you can write to me and find out about my social hours. During these hours I work at a very reduced price. You are welcome to reach out and ask if there are social hours left this month. If they are all booked - you can sign up to the waiting list and I will contact you in the future when a space opens up.
